We have been busy working on other things this last few weeks so we haven't had as much time to work on the "Flight". The cold weather hasn't helped as well. Still lots of work to be done. Will get there soon... Watch the skies ;)

This week we have been researching on a handful of new effects to be added into our private shows. Lots of planning, testing, scripting, and choreographing still needs to be done before we decide what goes in and what goes out. Something that most people watching the show will never know about.
For a piece of magic effect that may only last 3 mins on stage, it would have taken us at least 1 month sometimes even up to 5 months depending on the effect just to get it ready for the public to see. On Thursday the 11th of July 2013 Jack Daniels was invited to perform some magic for The Royal Rehab Centres Golf fundraising event and at the same time introduced and demonstrate Project Magic. The theme for the evening was Christmas in July. It was a fantastic and inspiring event as there was George St bashing survivor Simon Cramp who has made a full recovery. Wonderful guy! As well as ex stunt man Scott McLean. It was a wonderful eye opening experience for the audience as they saw first hand how magic can be used not only for entertainment but also for therapy. On the 8th of July Jack Daniels was a guest speaker at The Hills-Kellyville Rotary Club. It was a great night showing members of the club how magic can be used not only for entertainment but also for therapy. "Fantastic speaker at our Club Meeting tonight - magician Jack Daniels who is doing fantastic work providing magic therapy to people with a disability and other disadvantaged groups. Thoroughly entertaining and inspiring night." The Hills-Kellyville Rotary CLub |
