Today we performed for Microsoft at Novotel Sydney Olympic Park. The event had around 350 people which is a small audience to what we have played for in the past however they were all a fantastic audience with several international VIP's. The show had been specifically tailored for Microsoft as a team building show to demonstrate the possibilities of what we can achieve when we work together as a team. It was a personal challenge for us to come up with something new. It meant we had to create a few effects that wasn't just about "smoke and mirrors". There were hidden messages within the show. The performance finished off with one of our newly dangerous effects that we have been testing out for the past 4 months. Keeping the key word for the event "teamwork" in mind, we came up with a way to combine this effect/demonstration to fit the theme. The effect involved a 20cm very sharp knife! It was a demonstration of an illusion that combined 5 members of the audience to work with me (teamwork) and do something impossible. It played very well and no one died. It was a good day ;)
